In August 2023, I began a year-long contract with Bungie. I was excited to try my hand at an industry entirely different from retail and apparel—and I’m so glad I did.

I was hired to assist the game developer’s Internal Communications team, where I streamlined complex messages from across the studio (including Bungie’s executive team) into digestible information for the company at large.

Aside from intensive editing work—using guidelines from The Chicago Manual of Style—this role largely involved strategizing how Bungie spoke internally about a range of topics, including global events, giveback, inclusion, diversity, and equity, and more.
